Hello again, you people of the internet! Rena...er, well now Rune is here to update her journal~

If you couldn't tell by the formerly known as tag on my page, I am now going by my more official pseudonym, Rune Quicksilver. I originally chose Rena because it is a mash-up of Near, a character I liked (and still like) quite a lot. After some stupid drama and some people that really need to wake up and realize reality, I disliked the name for awhile, because it reminded me of those people who wanted to change their legal names to match a character, just because suddenly they 'always felt like a ____ instead of a ____'.

However, that time is long past...but instead of creating a new account, my karmic luck proved that patience eventually pays off. Now I get to keep all of my views, history, pageviews...AND change my name. Happy Rune is indeed happy~

For those who knew me as Rena, you can still call me that...but I rather like Rune. It's a little more...magical~

Otakon 2012, Rune is Coming for YOU!

Well, after much deliberation (and finally finishing out my semester), I decided that yeah, I think I could use a Otakon vacation this year (*coughaffordcough*). SO, I will be going this year, and I have been promised as drama-free a year as possible.

So if anyone wants to do meetups, photoshoots, etc. let me know. If you need to know what costumes I have/might have, check the link in my footer for more info.

In other news, I'm now working more hours in order to save up some cash for Otakon and to pay off some things I owe a little faster than I was doing during the schoolyear. I'm also relaxing, catching up on RP posts, and just trying to take this first week easy except for work and helping out around the house.

:tired: OFF TO POSTING...AWAAAAAY!

And now, after probably one of the shortest dA journals in all of my dA history here, Rune is now off to post and to prepare pasta for dinner. I hope everyone out there is surviving their exams/real life. Keep being amazing~!
